Yesterday I made what will be my final visit to my favourite spot in London, for a little while at least. The Columbia Road Flower Market takes place in Hackney every Sunday and it's been the most special weekly treat to stroll the stalls, grab a coffee or an ice cream, browse the cute little shops and often come home with the prettiest bunches of flowers to brighten up the flat. This week I headed down super early to avoid the mega crowds and had the place almost to myself, which was the perfect way to say goodbye.
It's bittersweet goodbye, and as much as I will miss my Sunday ritual, I am beyond excited to be moving back to Toronto this week after two years away! My time here in London has completely flown by - it's been an incredible two years which I will be forever grateful for - but at the same time, there's nothing like living abroad to make you really appreciate home. I cannot wait to get back to the old neighbourhood (little Portugal, baby!), spend some quality time with my fave peeps and hit the ground running with some big things we have in the works for Fitzroy. In the short-term, look out for more frequent pop-ups in some exciting new locations, much more Mumu coming in each month, and some awesome partnerships in the works.
Stay tuned, we're comin' for ya Toronto!
What I wore to the Market? My beloved Chloe boots, and the amazing Peacock Tunic by Show Me Your Mumu that I've been wearing pretty much non-stop for the past week. It's one of our all time favourite prints, so we're over the moon that it's finally back in stock!
