|She is ALWAYS the best-dressed in our books. Rose Byrne wears Calvin Klein like a pro, Met Ball 2015.|
By far the most fun of the red-carpet-season events, the beautiful people of the Met Gala Fundraiser seem to up the "crazy balls" stakes every year, and we can't get enough of it. But now that we've all enjoyed the Rihanna's food-dress memes , Bey and Kim's nakedness and SJP's head flames over our morning coffee, let's take a moment to discuss our fave picks for best dressed. There's nothing we love more than seeing who wore which designer, who went "all in" with the theme (this year it was China: Through The Looking Glass), and who just blatantly ignored it all together. It's ok Dree, we still love you the MOST.
Jennifer Lawrence was gorgeous as ever in this cut-out Dior number. We loved her slinky after-party look too! Total 70s glam.
Not particularly on theme, but we were crazy about this edgy Alturazza gown on the gorgeous Keri Russell.
Alexa was polished and pretty as usual, repping the Brits in Erdem.
Kendall Jenner sparkled in this green Calvin Klein number.
Our fave all-American golden girl Kate Hudson shone bright in Michael Kors.
We were blown away by Sienna's downtown-cool-girl take on the theme in this Thakoon suit. *praisehandsemoji*
Jennifer Connelly brought the 80s back in this strong shoulder Louis Vuitton stunner. It's a love it or hate it look that we loved, obvi.
Diane Kruger always manages to push the style boundaries while still looking beautiful, classy and chic (here in Chanel Couture). Take note, Kim K.
The dress is by TOPSHOP?! Props to you, Emily Ratajkowski.
Was it on-theme? No. Was it cool as f*ck? HELLS YES. Forget the Met Ball, Dree's outfit is what we want to wear every single day.
And our final favourite in the "f*ck the theme" category was Larry David, looking prett-ay, prett-ay, prett-ay good in monochrome black. Way to go LD.
