As you may or may not have heard, we recently revealed the first installment of an exciting new project we've been working on for the past few months. We were thrilled to have been approached by Slice TV network to host and style a series of "Get The Look for less" videos based on their top shows.
For the first "Get the Look with Ange and Jules" webisode, our challenge was to recreate some vacation looks from this season of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, using pieces from our new Spring '16 collection.
We had an absolute BLAST making these videos, and the team at Slice could not have been better to work with, supporting us every step of the way in our first attempt at being on camera. You can watch episode 1 here at Slice.ca !
Our model for this episode was the lovely Marla of Toronto based blog Trendstruck. For our "relaxed vacation look", we put her in one of our all time favourite dresses, the Resort Maxi by Australian brand Pink Stitch.
And while it hasn't arrived just yet (it'll be hitting the shop SOON in several different colours), you can shop the round towel she's carrying in her beach bag here for your next vacation. We recently took ours to mexico and have never gotten so much use out of a single vacay item!
The Mexican beach bags - hand made in Toronto by our friend Nicole Manek - are also coming soon, so keep an eye out!
For our "sexy city vacation look" we put Marla in one of our most versatile and easy to wear pieces, this long sleeved romper by Show Me Your Mumu. We love it dressed down for a day of exploring a new city in sneakers, then add some heeled booties and delicate jewellery and voila - perfect evening outfit!
Bonus; Mumu fabrics don't wrinkle in your suitcase, so you can pull it out after a long flight and look instantly chic without having to waste precious holiday minutes ironing! Everybody wins.
You can shop Marla's stunning romper and lots of other vacation-ready pieces online here, and stay tuned for the next episode of "Get the Look with Ange and Jules" coming March 17th to Slice.ca !
Oh, and the killer sequin bomber jacket I wore in episode 1 just hit the online store as well! Happy shopping, tigers!
